This blog is intended to be a place for the seeker with a "burning heart" . . . those who've found the modern Christian life to be "seventy-three miles wide and half an inch deep."
There is so much more that God intends for us than that we have chosen to receive. We have been both distracted by the cares and concerns and lulled into complacency by the comforts of this world.
And we have been deceived into believing this walk is about what we do for God, rather than what we become in God.
I'm not here to offer you "7 steps toward a better Christian life." I'm here to exhort you to take a raw and critical look at our collective tendency to chase after lovers less wild. To settle for far less than a passionate pursuit of the heart of our Lord and Creator. The Lover of our souls.
It's time to break free and become, through wholehearted surrender, the holy Bride that Christ longs for us to be.
